I never thought anything about looking through the profiles here because I just didn't have the time then. So today I started flipping through the pages and seeing tons of smiles from other members! It was so wonderful!

So then I all of the sudden flip to one and didn't even need to read his profile. The lord told me, he is a soul mate. For real!!! It was so amazing, I cannot put it into words!

So great, being a newbie, I email him with the system here. Then I go look at his profile and see he has not logged on to the site since November of last year :-(:-(

So I am on pins and needles...hoping like a teenage girl....please let there be an email from him!!!!

What do you do if that happens and you know you are supposed to be conected somehow with someone, from the bottom of the soul, and you have to try and find them, no matter what.

But then it hits you....... You only have a photo, his profile id #, his occupation and age!

Where do I even begin to search in that city?, or online?

So that is where I am :-(

Any advice?

God bless all!

My advice to you is to pray on it.  If this person is meant to be in your life, then God will bring them to you in His perfect time.  Trust in God to handle it and be patient in the knowledge that He is handling it.  It sounds trite but I really do think it's the only answer.

God bless you!

Wow.  I hope this works for you--I figure most people who come to this site are looking for those who want to put a little more effort into a relationship.  Along that line of reasoning, I might take some time to get to know this person.  You could take different subjects of interest to you, and start a conversation about them.  Some of the creative writing exercises are great to start a dialogue--things like 'If you could go anywhere in the world..."  and then fill in the blank.  These are called sentence stems.  You could read the same books, and then discuss them.  If you're close in proximity--you might go to an event where this person could meet with you so that you could get better aquainted.  If it's a public event, then it's a little easier than a date...you probably have thought about all this for yourself. I am just thinking it through again for myself...

I am glad that someone got in touch with you.  I certainly think this can bring people together, and in time good relationships will grow from the interaction here on the site...just getting in contact with people can help you to find even more new friends you can connect with.  In regard to soul mates, there is a good book a friend gave me called "The Search for the Beloved, Journeys in Mythology and Sacred Psychology" by Jean Houston. I really liked this book--it gives us a framework for our own personal journeys in search of a soul mate--or the beloved.  Jean Houston is a past president of the Association for Humanistic Psychology...

I wrote a lot--hope that wasn't too much..

Have a great holiday season..
