Who would have thought that the Pentecostal/Charismatic group would claim the largest group for a while?

But I think alot of gays like Pentecost/Charismatic because we appreciate the arts, the music, and we are a much more exciting group for sure.  MY favorite thing about Pentecost/Charismatic is that I don't always feel bored out of my mind when I go to church like I did when I was Baptist.  I attended a Catholic church once and was very bored there and the Methodist church also. People are so afraid to express themselves in some churches- I like the freedom that I experience at Pentecostal.Charismatic (I think I am just going to start saying PC churches..l-)

I have to say I feel more welcome in the Episcopal Church or something of that sort but i am truly more at home in the Assemblies of God or somewhere else where the worship service is heartfelt and people actually cry out to God without worry for someone looking at them. Always a difficult decision for me personally which way to go... here in Iraq I attend the contemporary service which is more Charasmatic I really enjoy the music honestly i look forward to it all week and it is like a wellspring of refreshing to worship with other christians a break from the day to day that is this place.

I totally agree- the churches like Episcopal, Lutheran, Methodist historically seem friendlier- but theres a ton of pentecostal/charismatic churches that are gay nowadays.
