You know I just really enjoyed reading what you had wrote in your description of the group you created. It is so nice to hear another gay Christian speak of his faith in Christ and I am so glad you mentioned the word.

I have never met an actual gay christian face to face and to be honest until recently I didnt know they existed and if they did, "I thought I would never find them" I honestly felt as if I was the only one. Now of course I can laugh at that but to be honest the only gays I have ever met are bar flys, druggies, or just over the top out with it foul mouthed queens, (now I love them none the les but I don't want to be like them) I haven't met a Christian homosexual in all my life.

My email is posted in my profile and so I have spoken to a few that I met on here but honestly I have noticed that when I spoke specificaly in my faith of Christ and the Word the Emails would stop coming and I thought.........Hmmm....

I just want to take my hat off to you and say I admire your courage and strength to announce your faith in a strong will towards Christ unashamed!

There is a large and free cyber-fellowship of many worldwide Gay Christians, at http://www.gaychristian.net

This website is especially valuable for those, like AverageGuy4u, who have little or no personal contact with Gay Christians at a local gay-friendly church. It is not dating oriented like this website, but the bulletin boards are vastly greater in both quantity and depth than on this website. There are some very deep and profound essays of faith.

Although not dating-oriented, some members post detailed personal profiles, but accessible only to members after registration. Registration to join is free, but takes a day or two. If you see someone who is of interest to you as a friend or possibly more, there is a powerful tool to find out a great deal about that person's depth of faith. On each member's profile page, members can read everything that person has ever written on the bulletin boards - in context - by using the "Read all posts by this user" link at the top of the profile page. (Do not confuse this with the "Read all topics by this user" link.) Then, armed with this knowledge, there is private messaging available to other members, that can be used for intelligent and likely productive dating-related inquiries and introductions.

Gay Christians, especially those who are still single, are a small minority of a minority. For this reason, finding the right person often requires travel and even relocation, for at least one of the two partners. This is especially true of those who live in sparsely populated rural areas, or in locales far from a gay-friendly Christian church
