I have found that many Gay Chrisitan sites are oriented toward younger people. But there are those of us in our 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's and even older who come to realize who they are in Christ later in life. We have a variety of experiences. Some have recognized their homosexuality when younger. Others, me included, came to understand and accept our homosexuality later in life. Some of us have married and or been in heterosexual relationships because we thought that was what was expected. We failed to proclaim who we were out of fear of castigation from our churches and our families. Now, in the middle of our lives, we accept who we are and take joy in the knowledge that we can, finally, relate to others who we are as God intended us to be. We are not into the bar scene. We seek Christ-Centered relationships. People who share our core values and agree that promiscuity, heterosexual or homosexual, is contray to God's Word. It is unhealthy and ultimately destructive. We want to love and be loved. We are committed to relationships founded on a mutual love of the Savior. We love our Heavenly Father, commit ourselves to live by the example of His Son, seek the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and pursue the truths found in God's Word. We are people of prayer. We serve God and His people through our churches. We refrain from practices that do not glority Jesus. But we are also sexual people. We praise God that he has given us this gift of sexual union.

The purpose of this group is to provide a venue for the older, more mature individual. Our life experiences differ from the younger gay Christian but our desire for God's direction in homosexual union is no less than our younger brothers and sisters. I invite all of you interested in this subject to contribute to the discussion.
